With new births every year, our herd has steadily grown for more
than 20 years : Vanilla, Cinnamon, Celestine, Babouche, and the others ….
Twenty or so she-asses live on our little patch of mountain up in the Cevennes. Every year, we sell a few of our donkeys, five or six month weaned foals or adults. Our donkeys are born of father and mother registered in the “stud book” of the Provence donkeys.If you want to choose one the best thing would be to come and see them. Just let us know about your visit!

The Provence donkey is a strong medium height (4ft to 4,3ft at the withers)
grey donkey. We find their remarkable docility and friendly character most appealing. We look after them every day, even when we are with our young children.

They are easily trained and will be of great help to carry materials or during the hikes. They are also an excellent weed eater. They are very hardy and accustomed to the mountainous region and climate of Cevennes.

The ideal mate, they will get on marvellously with a horse, a lamb, a dog etc...
